TERMS OF CONTRACT AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION FOR INDIAN EXHIBITORS
1.The 'EXHIBITION' shall mean FOODTECH INDIA 2004 at Kolkata, the 'EXHIBITOR' shall mean any
party to whom a stall has been alloted at the
Exhibition, and the 'ORGANISER' shall mean the
management of INTECH TRADE FAIRS PVT. LTD.
2.Stalls will be alloted by organisers on receipt
of duly filled in APPLICATION & CONTRACT FORM
along with advance payment of 50% of stall
charges. Balance payment must be completed lat est by 15th Sept. 2004.
3.All payments must be made my cheque / DD in
favour of FOODTECH INDIA 2004.
4.The Security deposit will be refunded within one
month after the exhibition after deduction of any
dues on account of charges for additional services
provided, or damages.
5.Stalls alloted to Exhibitors are not transferable
and subletting in full or part to third party is strictly
prohibited.
6. Standard modular furnished stall will comprise
side and rearwall panels, fascia with company's name,
carpet for floor area, furniture and electrical fittings
as detailed in Table 1 below. Additional furniture,
electrical fittings are available at extra charge.
7.The exhibitors are advised to take insurance
cover against all risks from the date of taking pos session of their stalls to the date of vacating the hall.
The organisers are expressly indemnified by the
exhibitors in respect of any loss or damage to
their goods and injury to staff, as well as third
party claims.
8.Painting, pasting papers which cannot be re
moved or making holes by nailing etc. on the wall
panels or furniture supplied by our contractors is
prohibited. Any damages done will have to be
compensated by the exhibitors to the contractors.
The maximum compensation shall be the replacement cost of the panel / furniture.
9.The exhibitors are responsible for any statu tory obligation such as sales fax, excise duty, trade
licence, etc.
10.The organisers reserve the right to charge
the floorplan, add or delete some of the passages,
or reallocate stalls. Organisers decision in these
matters shall be final, and this will not be sufficient
grounds for any exhibitor to cancel participation
and claim refund. Furthermore, the exhibitors clearly
indemnify the organisers against all claims, costs
or damages arising from these changes as well as
due to any power failure during the exhibition period.
12. In case of cancellation of stall booking due to
whatsoever reason, total payment made by the
exhibitor shall be forfeited. If after allotment of
stall, an exhibitor does not make the balance
payment by 30-09-2004 his booking will be treated
as cancelled and advance payment will be forfeited.
13. The exhibition may be postponed /shortened
or the venue may be changed due to circumstances
beyond the control of the organisers, such as force
majeur or orders of the Government Authority. In
such case, the exhibitors cannot cancel their partici
pation or claim refund or damages.
14. All concessions or permission allowed to any
exhibitor shall be valid only if given in writing by the
Project Manager of the organisers.
15.The submission of the Application and Con
tract Form duly signed by an authorised executive
of the exhibitor shall be deemed as acceptance of
these terms and conditions of participation as well
as further rules circulated by the organisers from
time to time.
16. All decisions of the organisers shall be final and
binding on all exhibitors and their staff or agents.
